Which mascara is best for hay fever sufferers?

I would like a mascara that neutralises the pollen as it lands on my lashes but I doubt it exists.

i currently use Liz Earle but I'm not impressed with it.

So failing that do you have any recommendations?

I wouldn't use any. Eyelashes will be more efficient at catching irritants without mascara on.

But make up without mascara just wouldn't look right

I've been using Clinique Lash Power for years. Every time I change, I get itchy eyes, or bits flake off, or I smudge it all over my face.

It's a tubing one - maybe other tubing ones would suit me but I've not actually tried them.

NB I don't think it has magical pollen neutralising powers, alas. But it does cope with my watery eyes, and me using eye drops a lot.

None. I get mine dyed.

Also use tubing mascara - No 7. This has made me able to wear mascara in the Summer as I really scratch at my eyes when I have hay fever. Tried Blinc tubing one first but prefer No 7.

Second tubing mascara. Only type I can wear. Kanebo do a great one if you can get that but the No7 is good too. I found the Clinique one too spidery and clumpy.

No 7 intense volume waterproof- fab stuff and doesn't shift.

Don't understand neutralising the pollen

I get my eyelashes dyed so don't need mascara. Friend has false eyelashes that last a month, looks really good, but I think I rub my eyes too much for them to stay on, but might be worth a try.

When dye fades I use no 7 waterproof mascara.

I got the No 7 tubing one and I am v impressed with it so far
