Insoles especially for Converse

I know a lot of people find them too flat, these might be an answer.

3/4 insoles have worked just fine for me, for some reason I cannot post links here but mine were only £7 ..

I wear Birkinstock 3/4 insoles.

I find the ridge a 3/4 insole leaves in a shoe rubs the bottom of my foot so am interested in full but then don't you need to size up or find the shoe too tight across the top of your foot?
