I'm 5'3 size 16/18 depending on shop and style. Carry weight in middle, good legs.

Inspired by bhs thread

Traditional wedding but not traditional couple and easy going so considering trousers too, saw some gorgeous jewel/Mediterranean palazzo pants in Marie Claire said they were monsoon but can't find on website. Oh and I'm early 40's too

Or wrap dress? I suit these and have a few that have been worn to death so wouldn't wear for this wedding.

I would wear this after wedding too

Have you looked on Scarlett and Jo website? Some fab, flattering dresses on there...

That pale pink dress with dark flowers from bhs is beautiful. It has a lovely back too. Perfect for a wedding. I always think it's better to stay with some simple and elegant as too many flowers and colours are not flattering.

Baconyum · 09/04/2016 23:31

I'm better with some pattern being larger plain is not flattering that dress is lovely though what shoes do you think?

Saw this combination on a mannequin in m&s today and loved it! I have similar sandals and jewellery it looks suitable but could also be worn after the wedding. Thoughts?
