Cheap but decent shampoo anyone?

So my usual brand of choice is John Frieda 'Brilliant Brunette', which is now about £8 for the shampoo and conditioner together. Given that I wash and blow dry my fine (slightly greasy) hair every day and that we are trying to spend less in the weekly shop, can anyone suggest a cheaper shampoo and conditioner that doesn't overload or overdry hair but keeps it shiny?

I like gliss. You can generally get it in bodycare or other cheap chemists for about a pound.

Pantene for me. I always come back to it!

V05 in the pink bottles. It's really good and smells lovely too.

I use baby shampoo. If you are washing daily it might be worth trying.

thanks, I will try some of those again and see if I can tell the difference!
