jeans that don't lose their shape

I struggle to get jeans that fit at the moment (size 18/20 and still carrying a spare tyre from pregnancy).

I have a couple of pairs of jeans (brown and burgundy) from john rocha (I think) that fit really well at first, then as the day goes on they get more and more baggy (I can pull them off without undoing them) and they look awful, especially baggy around my bum.

The only pair I have that don't do this is a pair of next wide leg jeans, they seem to have the right amount of elastic to meet sub their shape. But they don't sell them any more Sad

I tend to go for wide/boot cut/straight leg at a push as skinnies do me no favours at all - can anyone recommend some that might suit/keep shape?

Not cheap but can recommend NYDJ brand for keeping their shape and being very flattering. NYDJ - Not your daughters jeans.

I know what you mean. think you need to look for jeans which don't have a high elastic content, such as Levi 501s. When out shopping if you try to stretch the thigh on the hanger and they don't stretch, or not much, then they should retain their shape.

I keep looking at the NYD jeans - can you really go down a size as they recommend?

Yes you can go down a size. I'm a uk 16 -18/Euro 46; but wear both a 10 and 12 from NYDJ , depending on time of month.
