can you recommend some eyelash curlers please?

Have used no7 ones for years and they are good, but if there is something out that is brilliant I'm wiling to pay more. Didn't like the heated eyelash curlers. What do you use?

I've got shiseido ones which were recommended on makeup alley I believe. I've had them for years and they just 'fit' my lashes well. I tested shu umera ones which always win awards but the shape wasn't right for me and didn't lift the eyelashes.

Shu Uemura are amazing. I also like to heat my curlers for a couple of seconds with the hairdryer, I find it helps the curl.

I use an eyelash curler I bought for roughly a £1 It works fine and I've always thought that surely there can't be that much difference between the cheap and expensive ones, is there something I'm missing? I'm trying to upgrade my makeup so would consider buying a more expensive one.

Ive had my boots one for 30 years. God knows how long the rubber bit has been in for but I haven't had to change it for years either and my lashes always look amazing after I've used them. I use max factor 2000 calorie mascara, also used for years I've tried others but nothing compares.

I'd like to add that my mascara gets renewed every few months

Tweezerman ones are great. I second the 2000 calorie mascara too, it's the best :-)

It really depends on the shape of the eye - I have had many curlers pinch me because they have been too curved for my eyes.

I am currently using one from Eyeko. It has different handles than the classic metal ones, so I feel like they are less likely to slip than the classic ones. The shape seems to fit my eyes quite well too.

Another vote for Tweezerman! Not that cheap, but very good. Keep wanting to treat myself to Shu Uemera ones, but I have a long list of beauty product\tool upgrades!
