Cotton v-neck work dresses (on a budget)

Can anyone point me in the direction of the above?

I badly need to sort out a capsule wardrobe for work. I've gone up two dress sizes (currently a 12-14, mainly 14 due to bust) and have lost the ability to dress my curvy figure Confused

Nothing in the shops seems to suit and everything I find in budget is cheap polyester/ bodycon/ high necked (I'm a 32FF)/ uncomfortably short for the office.

My workplace is reasonably casual but I like to feel like I've made a bit of effort.

Please can someone help? I'm beginning to despair Sad

I wear a lot of wrap and jersey dresses from Boden.

Why not try a nice pencil skirt and tops instead to get more variety?

What is your budget?

Someone on here suggested slightly-larger than size shirt dresses, belted.

People Tree! Particularly in the sale; they are very reasonable at sale prices.

Thanks everyone, I'm grateful for all your tips.

Budget would be £30-40 a dress probably unless I can get creative with discount codes.

I don't find wrap dresses very flattering on me strangely and I'm not the biggest fan of cotton jersey knit unless it's a decent thickness. I'm quite self concious at the moment and I find it too clingy.

I used to live in crisp cotton dresses of varying weight with a little bit structure - vneck, darts/ gorgeous skirts etc. I was a pro at picking them out in the supermarkets/ high street for less than £30! They just seem to have vanished. I feel like I need to look at a different selection of shops than I'm used to but I'm restricted by budget.

I tried on a V neck linen blend dress in Sainsbury's a couple of days ago. Navy with horizontal white pinstripes. Fitted top, A line skirt. Quite nice, but a bit stiff for me.

I've got lovely cotton dresses for less than 20 quid in T I max before but it's very hit and miss. My ones were by Yumi and Lina Tomei
