Bomber jackets

Are they just for young people?
I'm 40's and considering getting one. I like the look of the satiny shiney slick looking ones :

I was going to start a thread about this too. I am also 40 but shorter and fatter than you! I'm 5ft2 and a size 12, really like them but think I may be just too old and short!

Young people did not invent bomber jackets - although they may believe they did. There's nothing about them that's intrinsically youthful.
