Dress is 50s style navy and teal flowery. Think lindybop shape. Big flowery pattern. No sleeves but have navy cardi to wear to cover the fat arms.

My shoe problem is that I don't have any and can't find any I like or that fit.

I am tall-ish. Much taller than all my short-arse friends so don't want heels. I also can't walk in heels. My feet are chunky too so slop over the sides of dolly shoe types.

I also need a bag to match the whole ensemble.

Please help or I'll be forced to wear my beloved Dr Martens and people will laugh.

Would you like actual flats or a teeny heel? [Are your fit just a bit wide or wide like mine?

A link to the dress / photo would be really helpful!

Oh. I can't wear ballet flats without looking like mini mouse (slim heel, broad feet), can you? I was assuming not but they would be ideal if you can.

What sort of budget for shoes and bag together?

What's the occasion? I've been known to wear 50's style dresse with Converse or something similar.

How about some Oxford flats (brogues, with thin sole) or slightly pointed flats?

Coverse would be good. There will be dancing and general debauchery.

What about something like this? I think black is your best bet

www.asos.com/New-Look-Wide-Fit/New-Look-Wide-Fit-Slip-On-Shoe/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=6179083&cid=4172&Rf989=5025,5032&Rf-200=4&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=204&sort=3&clr=Black&totalstyles=252&gridsize=3

These have ballerina in the title but wouldn’t actually class them as full on ballerina..Grin

Either with a black clutch?

I'd be looking for a navy vintage shoe! Any good vintage shops near you?

KateSpadeAddict · 06/04/2016 19:00

Blush just seen dress is navy and teal not black and teal. Scrap my previous suggestions Blush
