Boden Breton tops- last year's shrunk- any ideas?

I'm a long time customer of Boden. Bought 3 Breton tops last year. The first 2 were a good fit but on washing they definitely shrunk. The 3rd one- ordered later in the season- was bigger even though the same size. It was longer and bigger all over. It's not shrunk. I've ordered a 4th this year and it's the same size as the 3rd one. (hope you are following!) The 2 that have shrunk are wearable (just) but the arms especially are tight . I was going to take to charity shop but then thought - hey- Boden are really good so is it worth contacting them and asking for a refund / credit? It's probably under a year that I bought them.

I think worth contacting, nothing to lose. I am a longtime clothes shrinker but buy Boden for ds mainly because no clothes have ever shrunk despite my appalling treatment of them (wash at 60, tumble dry on high etc.). So sounds like a bad batch to me.

I had one last summer that shrunk, particularly around the arms. I hadn't thought of sending it back but I might now!

Has no 4 shrunk?
I'm currently wearing a new one I bought last week. It's a perfect length and fit so you have me worried now.

Mine from last year has shrunk too. Interesting. Have bought a longer one this year. This is bodens last chance for me as last winter's jumpers have all bobbled really badly.

I've started buying the Me & EM breton, to the one with ruching a the hem and they seem to last well

They have been returned after I spoke to them.

I don't really understand it! The first two I ordered last year were much smaller all over than the 3rd one ( a couple of months later) and I thought I'd been sent the long line version in error. But no, that was the normal one and the two that came first were tiny in comparison.

I've not worn the 4th one- it only came last week and am still in my thermals and woolly jumpers.
