I've been udjng the pixi glow pads 20% glycolic for a month now and am now only using twice a week as after every use I come out in spots?
What am I doing wrong and is it now not worth it twice a week?
I'm tempted to give up all together but am determined to improved complexion.

Me too. I gave up, and the spots have stopped.

I hated the Pixi Glow pads, they felt as if they were leaving a residue on my face. Maybe try the Nip&Fab glycolic ones instead? I found them much better (and cheaper). It may just be something in the pads that doesn't agree with your skin.

I've used up the Pixi Glow on my legs, arms and back, where the odd feeling didn't bother me so much.

I loved these pads when I first got them, but yet same thing here, after a while I starting waking up to little red irritation spots :( Sucks. I've now given up on them too. Tried the FAB ones next and they didn't do anything at all.

I'm using the Alpha Hydrox enhanced lotion now this stuff and no issues so far.

Didn't get on with the Nip & Fab ones either! Goldilocks here, obv.

Thank you for replies. To be quite honest I'm not entirely sure what result im supposed to get (which makes me an idiot fir buying them I know). I was expecting a glowing skin condition. Is that right?!
..,,,Think I'll go back to soap and water!

The acid removes dead skin so should leave you brighter and improve skin texture. You might just not get on with glycolic. If you suffer from oily skin or blemishes, try salicylic, if not try lactic acid.

HitsAndMrs · 08/04/2016 22:14

They are know for causing skin irritation. Salicylic acid isn't as harsh and gets deeper into the pore, that might be better for you.

chipsandpeas · 08/04/2016 22:16

maybe as others have said salyic or latic acid will be better for your skin, different acids work for different things on different skins

chipsandpeas · 08/04/2016 22:17

This might help you know what acid for your skin
