Funeral outfit for an autumn.

Hello,

Can someone help me find a funeral outfit. I'm an autumn and rid my wardrobe of everything black, I don't really want to buy anything black.

Something I can get online would also be useful...

I agree with Mrs Camobell Black. Rather sadly I have to admit. I've a dark charcoal wool coat for cold, smart days and funerals and a well cut charcoal skirt suit which I wear with a black top and scarf for funerals and my usual heathery colours at other times.

I haven't been to many funerals but simply want to look smart. I no longer think that black is essential. I went to a funeral a couple of weeks ago and wore a floral winter dress, black was the base but it had purples, blues and white. I wore black shoes but I had my padded coat on as it was very cold. The family were just pleased I was there to support. My friend (it was her dad) wore pale sunshine yellow and the widow wore lovely emerald green.

Karcheer both Jaeger and Jigsaw are good for formal occasion clothes in autumn colours.

Print on this might be too much but I have seen IRL and it's a lovely dress and I would feel it was funeral appropriate. Plain jacket or cardigan over it.

My Grandad's funeral was earlier this month and I genuinely cannot remember what anyone wore. I wore black, but then I wear black a lot anyway.

I'd go for navy over dark brown personally. I think you'll struggle for long sleeves at this time of year so maybe wear a jacket?

Phase Eight is usually good, and don't feel like you can't wear it again afterwards - I wear the dress I wore to my Grandad's funeral all the time.
