Flats at a wedding?

Hi, would you wear flat shoes to a wedding? Going to one on Friday, am 25 weeks pregnant and even my trusty comfy wedges weren't comfy at a wedding I was at last week!

Need some inspiration - a nude colour with a bit of sparkle/embellishment would be nice!

With weddings, I think "no one cares" is it - obviously don't wear white clothes or anything to OTT, but in general no-one will notice. I always wear flats, since I'm not a fan of heels and want to be able to dance/wander around.

I wore flip flops to my own wedding, so yes.

I can't wear heels at all, so I wear a swishy skirted dress with flats.

it's fine - clean, tidy and a bit of an effort are all that matters. You will see all the fugly stagger heels chucked to one side 20 minutes after the wedding, anyway - so everyone will be barefoot or in stocking feet. Why not wear shoes that are fit for purpose?

It's not Cannes film festival - you won't get turned away at the door (and if you are, you can make a big fuss on social media).

I wore heels but took flats to swap into later I the night. Unfortunately the brides feet were killing part way through the afternoon so I leant her my flat shoes !
Wear what you are comfortable in.
