What to wear with a wrap dress (jacket)

I'm going to a christening and have a wrap dress which I will wear but as weather is still cold I need a jacket to wear with it , what kind will go?

It's a patterned ,long sleeve fitted dress, knee length. I'm not sure if I should buy cardi, blazer type jacket or pashmina. The christening is going to be quite formal.

Personally I think wrap dresses look a bit odd with blazers - maybe it's the soft v. tailored thing - so I would go for a light coat or cardigan to the same length as the dress, or maybe a cropped cardigan. (pashminas make very little difference to the cold issue).

I got a lovely cropped jacket in mango today for €50! It feels like nice quality, way better than the price would suggest. They had a ton of colours too, yellow, orange, mint, pink & an airforce blue
