Stripping orange dye from bleached hair...

...does anyone have any recommendations for something I can use that ISN'T ColourB4?

I bleach my hair every few weeks (just the roots) and apply an orange semi permanent over it. It washes out mostly from the length, but the roots stay bright orange and now I want to change colour.

Any advice appreciated Smile

Try Scott Cornwall Decolour stripper. £12.99 in Boots.

What is wrong with colour b4

Isthat, thanks for the suggestion Smile Have you used it yourself? Is it less harsh than ColourB4?

Vixx, I've used it a couple of times and it was SO drying, my hair stretched like chewing gum whenever I washed it! And it stinks to high heaven.

Yes Benn I've used it to strip out my brown hair colour. Make sure you clarify the hair first before you use it, ie: use a cleansing shampoo such as tressemme to get rid of product build up and conditioner this helps the stripper to work effectively. Follow the instructions to the letter. You cannot go wrong.

Brilliant, will definitely give that a try!
