beauty counter make over

I have an event next week I am really going to go all out for, have booked nails hair etc and was thinking I would really like make up done. Not near a MAC counter which I know you can pay for but I wandered if I rang up a counter a debenhams and asked for a make over if they would do it? I'm in the market for a new foundation and concealer so prob would be spending some money. Anyone done this?

Yes, I've done that at Chanel and Bobbi brown. It's great fun.

At Chanel there was a special event where I paid £25 for an hour redeemable against whatever I bought. For foundation I really rate the YSL touché eclat foundation. If looks so natural but like you've got really lovely skin.
