(Another) help me style this dress?

I plan to wear it to a wedding and, later in the year, to the races. It was a fairly inexpensive dress and I don't want it to look cheap by over-accessorising. Can anyone give me any ideas?

A long summer coat (ie light fabric, cropped sleeves) in a contrasting sugary colour - pink or yellow. Pair with a pair of spikey ankle boots to give a little bit of edge.

You need a marvellous hat! Scour your local charity shops/vintage warehouses and try on everything that is the right colour (I'd stick to baby blue or 'neutral' colours) I picked up a fab hat for a wedding for £3 and i'd never have chosen it online but it just looked right when I tried it on.

Classic heeled sandals, pashmina or shrug cardi. No necklace, stud earrings, a nice bracelet if you like. Clear, pale pink or 'nude' nail polish. Beautiful
