Colouring hair when greasy?!

I haven't washed my hair for a few days....so today it's either wash my hair day or colour it, I'm itching to colour it, but can I if its a bit greasy?!!

My hairdresser always says not to wash my hair for a few days before colourung. It makes your scalp less sensitive and the colour adhere better if it's slightly greasy plus the hair is easier to work with.

I always colour mine when it's not been washed for a few days and it works fine. For the same reason as bimandbam
