Think silicone breaks me out....

Every time I use a silicone based product (primer) I seem to get lots of tiny whiteheads that can literally be scratched off!
I really need a primer otherwise foundation doesn't work on my fussy skin! Are there any silicone free primers that are good??
(I've already started a thread about primers but thought this needed a fresh one) thanks :)

Laura Mercier primers might be an option - some of them are silicone free. There's also one from Body Shop I think. Korres also makes one without silicone.
you could also look at setting sprays such as the ones from Urban Decay and NYX.

I have found silicones in moisturisers, serums and foundations, so you might have to check the ingredients for those products.

I have the same problem & can't use primers. Also anything with alcohol or AHA's/glycolic sets my skin off.
I did try a sample of a coconut one by Too Faced & didn't break out. It was expensive though.

I find the silicone in water work better on me. I use a Clinique one but basically anything that has Aqua before anything else doesn't break me out - I think they are just less thick but seem to work as well.
Smash box does a primer water too.
