Smart outfit for overweight 45yr old...can it be done?

Please help. Need dressy outfit! Approx 5ft 6 and about 13 stone. Would prefer trousers. Any suggestions. Please 😆

Where will you be wearing it? By dressy do you mean for a night out?

That shouldn't be a problem! We do need to know your size, what colours you like, the occasion, that sort of thing.

Lol. That info would help! So, daytime event/posh hotel. I'm very pale and think i suit green type colours. Prob size 16. Current clothes are size 14/16. Have looked online at viv westwood dresses (anglo... brand??)

It's hard to go wrong with Vivian Westwood. Go for it!

Yes VW dresses are insane - just make sure you have shapewear underneath as they show every lump and bump - I have one from years ago, kind of asymmetric and drapey - first time I tried it on without shapewear, I was horrified but then with, fabulous. Have a great day.

Definitely go to a dress rather than trousers then. I'm a 14/16 too and spanx are my good friends VW is out my price range but what I've seen, I like. Go for it.
