Hi everyone Smile

I've just been offered a new job (hurrah!) and would like to update my work wardrobe with some nice office wear/suits, preferably from stores with petite ranges which aren't too expensive...any recommendations?

For the record I'm a 20-something trainee solicitor - I need to be smart but definitely not frumpy! All I can think of is Next at the moment.

Thanks Grin

Have you tried the Warehouse or Oasis sales?

You can get decent shirts and trousers in the GAP sale too.

Ooh I used to browse the oasis and warehouse sales all the time but they slipped my mind, I will have to have a look!

Gap is somewhere I totally wouldn't have thought of but I'll have a look on their website too, thank you!

Debenhams have lots of petite ranges, you do have to sort through the middle aged stuff but you might find some good basics/dresses.

IMO if you are small you definitely need petite jackets to get the shape and sleeves right, but skirts and dresses are easy to get shortened or a bit more forgiving, i.e. a quite short dress from a normal range will be just on the knee for you.
