Ingrown hairs after years of epilators

Always loved my epilator in on my legs but I'm absolutely covered in ingrowing hairs, which then mean I'm covered in wee scabs.
I like the sun and have tanned skin so I got excited about the lumea then realised I would have to stay out of the sun and bit worried my hairs might eb a bit light and skin dark. Any cunning plans other than digging them out?

Regular exfoliation of the skin. You could try Tend Skin too, which I've got but have never had a bad ingrowing hair problem, so I can't tell you if it makes any difference on me.

Re:Lumea, I have a similar brand, and it detects your skin tone and adjusts the pulse accordingly (so if I'm tanned, it works at a lower level that when pasty in the depths of winter).
