Childrens shoes for spring?

lovefairylights · 16/03/2016 12:45

Ok we need something for the next few months before its reliably warm enough for sandals, but on nice days it feels wrong to be in boots - some nice shoes for a girl that is quite rough and tumble in the garden.

Our garden/grass seems to be quite dewy till well into lunchtime so the most common offering of canvas or quite open mary janes are a bit rubbish. I have a preference for nice soft leather. Also I don't really know where to search for some new childrens shoe brands...

Any recommendations?
thanks

I love the Pediped range. Sensible enough for me, bright enough for the DC. I am thinking of getting DD (4) some of the Renegrade shoes when grows out of her Boulder boots.

Pediped
Excellent fitting guide on their own website (they are Ametican so easier to find a UK supplier) and often cheaper on Amazon.

Livie and Luca shoes are lovely too.

Livvie and Luca are lovely, very soft but not very hardwearing in the "rough and tumble in the garden" stakes.

Ecco shoes. Have just bought them for my 3yo twins. Not too heavy

Oh sorry they're canvas Blush

lovefairylights · 16/03/2016 20:35

thankyou - some lovely shoes on those sites...
I think I have found 2 and torn between which to choose

livie and luca
and
ecco

bike - have you had livie and luca - will they be rubbish once they are inevitably scuffed (i have learnt to live with scuffed shoes!)

I have had Livvie and Luca, but only once. The leather is very soft, so DD went through the toes, although the ones you've linked look like the toes might be sturdier.
