I've recently bought some very cheaply and am wondering what to wear with them? I am also quite top heavy, think size 14 upper body and size 10/12 trousers. Would these suit someone with my body shape?

They're very comfortable but have seen many models wearing belts with them, which I can't do due to my larger belly. Can I wear something loose around the top and look nice or should I give them back?

Have a look on Pinterest for ideas. Also GAP are the king of chinos in the summer, have a look at their website for how they style them, even if you don't buy from there.

Are they flat fronted or pleat fronted with leg? You can definitely wear a looser top with either, but I find the length of the top is key, especially with a pleat front. If you cover the trouser detail the trousers just look baggy, same as the top and can just look shapeless.

Watching with interest, as I have bought and then returned Next chinos at least twice in the past couple of years. I keep thinking they should suit my style and shape but then when I try them at home I'm at a bit of a loss how to wear them without feeling a bit frumpy! I do love a comfy trouser though, especially for work Grin.

I will definitely plunder Pinterest for ideas - good idea loulou
