Gel polish - please help!

I have tried:

Orly FX
Shellac
Biosculpture Gel
Calgel
Jessica Geleration

Nothing lasts longer than a few days (absolute maximum of a week) before it lifts/chips/flakes/nails break.

The problem often seems to be that the gel doesn't adhere properly to my nails.

Any ideas? I so want to find something that will look good for 2-3 weeks.

Don't really want extensions/tips, just gel polish on my natural nails.

Try Barry M's sunset daylight curing nail polish. You need their topcoat as well as a colour from them too. It might not last as you'd like but you do it at home and it's really cheap!

I use Red Carpet Manicure at home, it lasts roughly 2 weeks but you will need the light thing.

When I have them done at a salon they last a month.

Do you do a lot of typing or have your hands in water frequently? Mine don't last as long if I don't wear rubber gloves when washing up or cleaning.

Do you prepare your nails properly?

A slight buff with a fine file, clean your nails well to remove oils. You can get nail dehydrators to use before base coat application. Use a good base coat!
