I'm looking for a shirt dress, can anyone help?

Inspired by Julia Roberts in Larry Crowne who sports a range of fab shirt dresses, I'm on the look out for one. Also to replace one I have that is 13 years old and about to die.

I love this but it's out of stock in my size: M&S

I like this too but it's rather pricey plus I'd prefer mid-length sleeves:
Boden

Have any of you seen anything similar on the High Street?

Should I wait a while and trust that the M&S one will come back into stock in my size?

Thanks!

New Look have some shirt dresses left in their sale. I have this one in black an absolutely love it. But the shirtwaisters are really nice too.

Do you mean a denim one ? I've just bought the next one . It's a new e colour , they are in all the shops .

Nice even

They are everywhere but lots of them seem to be too short... I saw one in pull and bear which was a good length but can't see it in their website.

Gap usually do a load of shirt dresses too.

Oh and Uniqlo too.

Very helpful, thanks. Seems they are everywhere this year!

BTW I don't necessarily want denim. It needs to be not too hot.

So many of them are in nasty fabrics though. I have a lovely denim one (ancient Monsoon) but it's too hot for warm days. Watching with interest.

I love this and it's cotton but only comes in white, which seems a bit daft. Would be fab in black.

This one is cotton but I don't like it. It reminds me of something I had in about 1983.

Remus, I've tried the White m&s dress on, it's actually classed as swimwear cover up and it's located with bikinis etc and as a result is very see through and flimsy

ShatnersBassoon · 15/03/2016 19:47

This one is nice and lightweight in real life.

Thanks, Blonde. Would be nice as a cover up, but maybe not so good for going to Waitrose*!

*Sainsburys more likely
