Bump... Plus I would like some too, 5'7" size 12-14 budget £35?

OP I think we might get very different suggestions!

KnockMeDown · 14/03/2016 14:57

For the £35 budget I would say Per Una Roma fit.

No idea about the £150 budget - sorry, OP!

lavenderdoilly · 14/03/2016 14:59

Nydj (not your daughter's jeans). They are magic. available in good nick second hand on ebay as well. New ones in your price range.

Zara

HappyGirlNow · 14/03/2016 15:54

also Zara

Judydreamsofhorses · 14/03/2016 16:37

Which shape of jeans do you want, OP? I know the name's awful, but I love Topshop's "mom" jeans, which are basically a high-waisted peg-leg, and really flattering. For skinnies I like the Oasis Lily, although they don't wash brilliantly, and also Whistles - more expensive but they wash really well and last forever, so a good investment.

DiscoDancer · 14/03/2016 16:38

Marking place!

kiwidreamer · 14/03/2016 17:34

Any recommendations for favourite jeans in the 14/16 size would be grand also --ive only just gone and worn thru the inner thigh without having a new pair on stand by, have to go shopping with holey thighs!!!--

louloubelle2 · 14/03/2016 17:41

Best premium jeans I found are J Brand. I have the Maria high waisted skinnies in black and blue, not too skintight with a bit of stretch. Also Paige Margot. Might be nearer £200 but I've never paid anywhere near that, check The Outnet, also Very Exclusive might have some left in the sale.

lavenderdoilly · 14/03/2016 18:39

Sorry you had a bad nydj experience, red. One size down should do it. I took a risk on ebay after pair after pair of rubbish and they are truly fab.

building2016 · 14/03/2016 18:42

I love these Biba dark straight leg high waist jeans

rollonthesummer · 14/03/2016 18:43

What's the sizing like on the NYD jeans? I'm a size 12 with skinny legs (but a sizeable arse!)- what size should I go for and will they be nice and tight on my knees?!

lavenderdoilly · 14/03/2016 18:53

I wear us size 10 but am uk 14-16Blush and they work for me.

lavenderdoilly · 15/03/2016 08:16

I should add. UK 14 - 16 is, I think us 12. So us size 10 jeans is one size down.

TeamEponine · 15/03/2016 08:56

Jasper Conran shaper (or something similar) jeans from Debenhams - magic!!!

Lauren83 · 15/03/2016 08:58

Hilfiger Denim Santana, high rise skinny with 4 way stretch so they really keep their shape . Was £90 currently £45 online in the sale in black, grey and mid blue

WellTidy · 15/03/2016 09:01

I am a similar shape to you. I am 5 foot 1 inch, with large thighs and hips.

I bought some amazing high waisted shaper skinny (don't be put off) dark denim jeans from jasper conran in Debenhams for £45 (they then had 20% off). they are fantastic. They're a bit too long for me, but I wear them tucked into boots, so it makes no difference, I just turn them up. They are very high waisted, have stretch, and basically hold me and my thighs and hips and muffin top all in. They're on the Debenhams website. I bought a 12, and I buy a 10 or a 12 everywhere.

I also like (but nowhere near as much) Gap 19069 high rise skinny jeans. They aren't in my local Gap shop, but they're online. They are 30% off online today. I got them in black. I got mine in the petite size and the length is perfect, but you're taller than me, so you could have the regular size. I bought a 29 inch (waist) and I am between a 10 and a 12.

MyLifeisaboxofwormgears · 15/03/2016 09:09

I don't think I'd go for these though - even the model looks terrible in them!

Really not a good picture

rollonthesummer · 15/03/2016 09:12

That photo is terrible!

I tried on the Gap 1969 legging jeans recently which were fab-very stretchy. I thought £50 was expensive for a pair of what were essentially jeggings though!

Thelwell · 15/03/2016 09:57

OP...I'd suggest making a trip to mih jeans. The quality of denim is utterly fabulous. If you buy in shop then you can also get them subtly monogrammed Grin. Wait for the sales. I can see you in something like these:

www.mih-jeans.com/womens-jeans/slim-leg-jeans/daily-jean-yuha.html

Once you, know your size/style, buy from asos as they stock most of the mih range at decent prices.

But be warmed, it is very difficult to switch back to other brands....I promised myself one pair and now have 8 In different fabrics, colors and cuts Blush

theredjellybean · 15/03/2016 13:28

ooh thankyou so much everyone...like my own personal jeans shoppers..had looked at the gap ones online..will order a pair as 30% off for a try but also loving MIH ones and going off to explore other suggestions.

thank you again
