Dress for very chic wedding

In your opinion, which is more chic, a print or plain colour?

I like Phase Eight for dresses, the high-necked, sleeveless printed ones really suit my shape (tall, slim, good arms and legs, but small chested), like this:

navy print

But I'm wondering if this is a bit casual for what will probably be the most stylish wedding of my life (in S. Europe).

Would this type of dress be better?

magenta flared?

Not sure if it would suit my shape as well? My main issue is small boobs to disguise.

Oh god and then I will need bag and shoes, and I'm really clueless where they are concerned! It will be very hot so some kind of sandals, but I can't wear anything very high at all. At least I won't have to worry about jacket or hat!

All suggestions most welcome. In terms of colour I'm a winter and am drawn to blues, navy, cold reds, greys.

Thanks

I think this is chic, although not sure if they are 'winter' colours? www.tedbaker.com/uk/Womens/Clothing/Dresses/ODEELA-Floral-Swirl-bodycon-dress-Fuchsia/p/125381-55-FUCHSIA

Plain colour dress is simple, elegant and classy. You can never go wrong with a one colour dress. A Navy or blue dress will go perfectly with nude shoes and bag. Asos have some really great dresses for different occasions.

Of the two posted by OP I think Iris dress is more chic, but more due to the shape than the fabric (though I do like the print). I don't think it is casual at all.

But you can make it more dressy with accessories anyway.

Thanks.

I don't like nude for bag/shoes - would silver or grey be good? Should they match??? I'm clueless with accessories. I last went to a wedding three years ago and wore a dress with some black, with black strappy sandals, which looking back wasn't great.

I like this one!

I like it too Fresta, but concerned my flat chest won't do it justice!

Love fresta's Ted Baker Odeela suggestion...

Looks like you prefer bodycon, but here's something a little different. I think it's gorgeous, flattering a great for a summer wedding...

Sparkly, strappy sandals (silver?) and a metallic silver/grey clutch... chic IMO Wink

Yikes that Mint Velvet dress is Gorgeous.

I think it's gorgeous too, but a bit edgy for me. Maybe would be good for the edgy French wedding thread!
