knee-length day dresses

Anyone got any recommendations of where to look ? Why are all dresses cut above the knee at the moment?

Looking for something bright, Spring-like, size 12-14. Usual style All Saints, Hush, Baujken, Day Birger.

I have the standard length, am 5' 3'' and it is just on the knee..

I like that one, but too short for me (age 43). I'm 5'5.

seriously, i would try it (u can always send back)... i think they do it in tall fit too. so u should be able to find a good length...

That next dress looks way too short.

What about & other stories? They usually have lots of interesting things that are a bit longer. I sympathise, it's really hard to get on the knee dresses esp if you are a bit long of leg.

Have you looked at Joe browns? It's a bit hit & miss pattern wise but good length wise and importantly for my big books neckline wise.

You beat me to it, Twitedheartache in saying JoeBrowns, if the patterned tea dress has any appeal.

Jaeger, Fenn Wright Manson, John Lewis, Samsoe and Samsoe, Jigsaw all have lovely day dresses to knee length.

I'm 5'6", so not ridiculously tall, but so many dresses are mid thigh on me - not good at 46!

If anyone is still interested (!) I got to real shops today instead of my usual online browsing and scored a cracker of a dress in Whistles. It's fitted, on the knee and could work for day or evening. V pleased!

I buy from Next in the tall section so dresses come to the knee.

Great dress OP. Why is it so hard to find knee length dresses?! everything's far too short. Grr. Shall look at links..
