selling a Mulberry bag

Hello

Just looking for some advice from people who might be in the know! Where would be the best place to sell a Mulberry Bag? Its a messenger style small Antony one in black, not used more than around 10 times and just sitting in my cupboard taking up space. Is Ebay the best kind of place for it? I don't have the receipt so not sure how to prove it is genuine. Also, any ideas what kind of price I would be likely to get for it?

Many thanks!

Ebay would be a good bet. Take lots and lots of photos of all different angles. Do a search of completed listings of the same bag to get an idea of prices. As a general rule, if it's used but in very good condition, starting it at half the price you paid for it.

There are also websites that sell designer bags for you, obviously they take a % but they will be able to authenticate the bag for prospective sellers. I know of this one www.npnbags.co.uk/ but there are more. Have a look around here forum.purseblog.com/ too.

EBay is good because it's kind of self regulating. There are so many professional and hobby sellers of Mulberry, people who but their outlet stuff for example, fakes are identified easily and nobody bids. Also the community pages are really helpful for buyers to authenticate. Set a reserve though.

Thank you for your advice. How can people tell if its fake or from an outlet just from the ebay pictures? I have no way to verify that mine was bought from a shopping centre as I don't have the receipt any more!

I would recommend npn bags having bought and sold from there in the past. An Antony is likely to sell very quickly.
