Yep, anusol works a treat. Cream, not ointment. Only a dab under each eye, works like touché eclat!

It won't lighten dark circles but it will temporary tighten the skin, improving the appearance.

I think long term use will thin the skin also, don't use it too often!

Can see it would work for puffy circles but not how it can make dark ones lighter.

If you have dark circles, you've got dark circles.

The new REN brightening eye treatment works brilliantly on bags. Tried it after Sali Hughes recommended it. For dark circles you'll also need a good concealer. I like the Mabelline eye one or Seventeen Phwoar Paint (stupid name, good dupe of a Benefit Boing).

Wouldn't use anusol round my eyes as it can thin the skin.

I've lately been using Anusol cream for bags - the plain one, not the one with steroid - only needing it once or twice a week as the effect seems to last for ages. I don't get dark circles so can't comment on those.

Body shop eye gel is also brilliant, and probably better for your eyes than bum cream!
