Which option for just a day to day work shoe? Which are the least daggy?? For both knee length skirts and dresses and tight black jeans.
In the shop right now so have to choose in next five mins!
Thank you wise brains of MN!

I prefer the boots, not the lace ups!

TotalPerspectiveVortex · 05/03/2016 14:38

I have a very similar pair of lace ups & I love them.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 05/03/2016 14:39

The top ones. I'm not sure the bottom ones will work with skirts/dresses.

sarahsinlondon · 05/03/2016 14:40

Ok that's two votes for the boots (top) and one for lace ups... Any more votes? heads towards the tills...

Thank you for the quick replies, so helpful!

Top ones

KaraokeQueenOfTheNorth · 05/03/2016 14:41

I love those lace ups and I now want some.

IHaveBrilloHair · 05/03/2016 14:43

Love the lace ups

sarahsinlondon · 05/03/2016 14:48

Giving it five mins for a final tally...

I'm obsessed with what people wear on their feet for work when it's not sunny. I can't do proper heels and baffled by anyone who's not in agony. But this means I end up schlumping around in trainers or flat boots and when you're not the most slender or long-legged I worry I look really frumpy.

Boots.

originalmavis · 05/03/2016 14:48

Lace ups. I've got blue ones and red ones very similar. Love them.

anotherbusymum14 · 05/03/2016 14:48

Although you'll be fine with either TBH

321zerobaby · 05/03/2016 14:50

Lace ups definitely.

originalmavis · 05/03/2016 14:50

Shoes are more comfy as they hold your feet more. Skirts don't look great with boots I think unless they are quite tight (cowboy boots with slirt or shorts look terrible to me!)

What shop are you in?

JemimapuddleducK02 · 05/03/2016 14:52

Lace ups

LaurieFairyCake · 05/03/2016 14:52

I think they're both really high/skinny for someone who can't do heels Confused

Have you tried them on and can you walk in them?

SavoyCabbage · 05/03/2016 14:53

Lace ups.

bopfactory · 05/03/2016 14:54

The lace ups definitely! Which shop are you in?

BunnyTyler · 05/03/2016 15:46

Lace ups.
The boots are bland.

StepAwayFromTheThesaurus · 05/03/2016 15:49

I think the lace ups would work better with skirts than the boots.

MissMogwi · 05/03/2016 16:00

I like both. Which shop are you in?

MuttonCadet · 05/03/2016 16:18

Probably way too late, but lace ups

polyhymnia · 05/03/2016 16:28

Can't really understand how either can be comfortable for someone who doesn't do heels.
Also don't know where you work but personally I wouldn't wear metallic plus v obvious heels for work - one or the other ( eg pewter brogues) - but not both at same time IMO, or risks looking a bit OTT.

Tate15 · 05/03/2016 16:36

Both are horrible!

Sorry!

polyhymnia · 05/03/2016 16:39

Have to agree with Tate there. Sorry.

Tate15 · 05/03/2016 16:41

They look like footwear from over 20 years ago that were sold in cheap shoe shops! Not sure if shoezone was around then!
