I am after some new trainer/casual shoes to wear with skinny or boyfriend jeans - any ideas? Can't do Converse as they have no support for my poor feet. Thanks!

How about Nike Cortez?

blahblueblah · 05/03/2016 11:47

I like white tennis shoes - Stan Smith, K Swiss or Spring Court.

bishboschone · 05/03/2016 20:45

Stan smiths are rock hard , I tried them the other day ... Just horrid !! I wear ev ox player converse ? Much more comfy and supportive than usual cons but the same look . Adidas gazelles are comfy too .

Drinksforeveryone · 06/03/2016 10:36

Supergas are more supportive than regular converse. They are often on sale too online.

I have just spent a lot of time wearing skechers run trainers. Did a lot of walking on holiday and they were perfect.

Knackeredknitter67 · 06/03/2016 15:11

I prefer Adidas Superstars to Stan Smiths. I'm thinking of getting a pair of black Vans

megletthesecond · 06/03/2016 15:16

Nike Internationalist.

I spring along in my Nikes. Loved converse but they're not speedy enough for me.

I do suspect I have reached the age (41) of not caring what I look like, as long as it's comfy and practical Hmm.

I love my sketchers - didnt particularly like the look of them in the shop and then i got them on my feet - just the most comfortable shoes, so light and springy. Dont really get the big deal about converse - not really flattering or comfortable.

Bunbaker · 06/03/2016 15:52

Another Sketchers fan here. I wish they looked a little more stylish, but once you have worn them nothing else feels as comfortable. It is like walking on cushions.

noisytoys · 06/03/2016 17:03

Skechers Go walk. They are the comfiest trainers ever.

Ash virgins

Sketchers here too. Mine are plain black with white sole and laces, no jazzy patterns or strappy bits. I could walk miles in them.

Superga are nice too, but probably not as supportive as the Sketchers.

ZaraW · 06/03/2016 18:01

Kaanas are my favourites at the moment got them on sale from shopbop and Amazon.com. As comfortable as trainers but look better.

Bunbaker · 06/03/2016 18:05

I have just had a look at their website Zara and they don't look very supportive.

IHaveBrilloHair · 06/03/2016 19:44

The kaanas look nice but very flimsy for the price.

MeadowHay · 06/03/2016 21:48

Vans?

Paddingtonthebear · 06/03/2016 22:08

My most comfortable trainers are these:

m.size.co.uk/product/vans-sk8-hi-slim-zip-womens/180867/

And

www.amazon.co.uk/ADIDAS-M19709-Womens-Basketball-Shoes/dp/B00UBVXCBM

Paddingtonthebear · 06/03/2016 22:09

I was an Adidas Gazelle wearer for years but the adidas honey is more comfy IMO

QuestionableMouse · 06/03/2016 22:59

Sketchers. I wear them for work and they're so comfy and supportive! I have the memory foam ones and they really are good- I used to get horrible back/knee pain but no more!
