I've put on weight and I'm going on a beach holiday

I really can't afford to replace my whole holiday wardrobe but could stretch to a couple of nice flattering things.
Happy with my swimwear/kaftan/sarong arrangement but would love a couple of flattering dresses.
I'm 5'9" and a generous 14. Any ideas?

and I'm nearly 50 so nothing above knee length would be best.

Montaray at Debenhams are doing some summery stuff in their sale atm

Their clothes are fairly skimming and easy to wear, nice for a beach holiday

I got this last week, lovely fit, not tight at all, just nicely skims over stomach. I'm 5'7 and it sits just below the knee. .I'm 45 by the way and also frantically shopping for a beach holiday! Thought it would look nice for Autumn/ Winter too with tights and a cardie!www.tkmaxx.com/view-all-womenswear/grey-washed-linen-dress/invt/30124587

Thanks for the help.
Hadn't thought of linen, but it's a great choice in hot weather
