Is Gap Tall also a generous fit?

I know normal Gap is way generous with its sizing...the last few things I've bought have been 2 sizes smaller than my normal. Is the 'tall' range as generous? I desperately need some clothes for a new job and really struggle to find well fitting items...trousers/shirts etc. Fwiw I'm 6ft and normally a 10. Any advice gratefully recieved.

I'm 6ft and a size 12, sometimes a 10 in vanity sized tops, I've only got gap tall jersey tops and I wear a small, they are quite generous and have FAB long sleeves! For bottoms, I have a pair of jeans and jean shorts in 29 and 30 waist and a pair of "true straight" trousers in a 12 that fit great. Only gripe is that bottoms are 35" and I need a 36"...

Thanks Passthecake, so would you say stick to size 10 trews/small in shirts/knits? (I have no boobsso dont tend to get pulling on buttons)

Last time I bought the 'regular' range I bought a uk size 6 which I have NEVER been so I didn't want to spend loads on clothes that are way too big.

I gave up on gap as their tall fit used to be long enough in a size 12, but way too big round. The 10 and 8 had shorter legs! That was a few years ago, so may be different now.

I have boobs but I'm a narrow frame (30ff) so you might want to try smaller than a S if you are smaller than that as my size S have a little bit of room to grow into...maybe try xs and s and 8 and 10? Returns are usually free?

I've never tried the shirts, would be interested in hearing your feedback...and if you find any other gems that work as I am sick of my work wardrobe...

Oh and if you just need plain v neck knits to layer over shirts - peacocks have some that reach my wrist

My waist is 30" and hips are 38-39" of that helps at all in working out how much slimmer you are to me

I want boobs!!!
