Thinking about getting my hair chopped tomorrow

It's long enough to sit on and I'm getting sick of dealing with it. It's either in a bun or a plait for work and never looks good down. Was thinking about something like this:

Has anyone done this and not regretted it?!

I would go shorter than that to add volume and life to your hair.

You could still tie it up and do loads with it

It doesn't look remarkable in any way. I can't imagine you could regret a cut like that.

My hair is really thick- I had it shorter when I was younger and it didn't really suit me. :)
