I'm thinking of going to Bicester either next Thursday or Friday. Does anyone know how busy it is? Do you have to queue to get into any shops? Also, my mum would like to come too but she is disabled and has difficulty walking up steps. Is it quite disabled friendly? Thanks!

There aren't any steps really, most of the shops are on one floor although some of the high end ones have second floors, Gucci and Burberry if I remember correctly.

It shouldn't be too horrendous on a Thursday or Friday I wouldn't have thought, it's is bedlam at the weekends. Get there as early as you can as it gets busier towards lunchtime.

Generally you always have to queue outside Ralph Lauren, and often UGG too. Some times the big designers have queues, I often think they do it to make the store look more popular and desirable but I could stand corrected! The queues generally move fairly fast I think.

I've only been a few times when in the area for work, so it's always been at odd times during the week. It's all on one level and I'd say disabled friendly, yes. Parking can be a nightmare though so I'd rec getting there early. Have fun.

We went Saturday and it was really quiet!

Thanks for the advice! I hope it is quiet. I'm looking for a Mulberry purse or some Jimmy Choo shoes and hope there won't be queues.

It's all level, the earlier you get there the less busy it is. A new car park has been built on the edge of town with shuttle bus to the village. Ugg shop has been quiet last few times I've been - moved to a smaller unit too. I'm local btw!

Op your mum will be fine at Bicester, it's all very flat and accessible. It gets v busy at weekends but on weekdays you should be fine. If your mum has a blue badge you can park v close but think if you get there in the morning you'd be fine anyway. Some nice places for lunch too like daylesford if you wanted to make a day of it. Enjoy!
