Hiring a makeup artist is £££ so my friend who is really good has offered to do it for me.

If I was starting from scratch without using my existing makeup what would you say I needed to buy?

I recommend buying a foundation that doesn't flash back in photos, it can't have Spr in it. I used Laura mercier and my photos were good. I had a make over with them and bought the essentials.

If you can I’d go with your friend to a bridal lesson at Bobbi Brown and they will show you how to do it and recommend what you need. It’s completely free Smile you just pop in and make an appointment!

I would say watch Lisa Eldridge who has several wedding looks, see what you or your friend already own that you could use to make a look you liked of hers and take yourself down to a Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown counter.

I did my own makeup based entirely on stuff I already owned (mostly Laura Mercier) and a Lisa Eldridge video which I practiced obsessively Grin
