Laser hair removal between pregnancies

Hello,

I had planned to start laser hair removal at a clinic shortly but my friend has told me it's pointless if I plan to be pregnant again. I'm sure there is some logic to this but wondered has anyone any experience to share please?

I had laser before and in between pregnancies. I have pcos so am hairy due to hormones, so I never expected permanent hair removal. I treat the laser treatment in the same way as waxing (eg something that may reduce in the long term, but something I'll always have to do).

From reviews that I've read, changes in hormones can cause dormant hair follicles to grow, so you may find that treatment works but getting pregnant can restart growth.

My clinic wouldn't let me continue with treatment whilst I was breastfeeding, so I had to stop sessions for 18 months ( pregnancy and breastfeeding).

Thank you, that's helpful to know.
