I thought I found the one, the perfect colour just what I wanted, but it's so hard, I can imagine it being used by dentists in their drills.
It drags badly on the lids, I tried warming it up, but that didn't work.
It's Clinique Olive-tini skinny stick.
I'm looking for the same colour, but softer.

Urban decay 25/7 glide in is good and loads of colours

mewkins · 26/02/2016 13:47

Glide on sorry

OttiliaVonBCup · 26/02/2016 15:21

Thanks, that's one brand I've never used.
Better glide is def. what I'm looking for.

Had a look online and there is a shade that seems very close.

I really rate Chanels eye liner, it is soft and easy to apply.

My new favourite

OttiliaVonBCup · 26/02/2016 16:10

I'm after an olive green.
Ideally self sharpening, I see chanel have something as well.

I really rate Avon Glimmersticks. Cheap as chips, no need to sharpen, easy to apply and once on the colour really lasts. Try the Big and Daring one in Burnt Olive:

www.avon.uk.com/product/301-316-420-1422/make-up/eyes/eyeliner/avon-big-daring-glimmerstick-kohl

If you don't mind having to use a sharpener, Bourjois 16 hr Kohl & Contour in Vert Expressif is lovely and does exactly what it says on the tin. You can buy it in Boots and again it's cheap and cheerful:

Kennington · 26/02/2016 19:21

I second the bourjois verte one. It lasts forever too.

OttiliaVonBCup · 26/02/2016 19:36

Thanks!

I'll try them tomorrow.
I also found this

in moray

It's a shame the clinique one is dodgy, but I should have looked up the reviews on their site fist. Not a single good one.

I had an olive double wear Estée Lauder one and it was brilliant. Not sure if they still do it though.

Eachpeachpearplum1985 · 26/02/2016 20:25

I second urban decay. So soft and easy to use.

Housewife2010 · 26/02/2016 20:43

I third urban decay. Gorgeously soft and they set well. If you like them it's worth getting the sets at Christmas ( or in the January sales).

OttiliaVonBCup · 26/02/2016 20:54

Oh Christmas seems a bit far, Grin but I'll try the Urban decay, we have a counter nearby.

I fourth Urban Decay. Best eyeliners ever. No drag. Amazing green colours. I use moss green and stash from there.. Both fab. Loads more colours too

OttiliaVonBCup · 26/02/2016 21:00

Right, that's quite the consensus here.

OP posts:
OttiliaVonBCup · 26/02/2016 21:00

Quite unanimous recommendations here.

Avon glimmersticks all the way for me.

GreenGoth89 · 26/02/2016 22:02

Kiko eyeliners are really good as well as make up forever - not sure what colours they do but they have felt tip one which are awesome!

toomuchinternets · 28/02/2016 21:52

I fifth Urban Decay! SO soft, effortless glide, stays on all day.

ZacharyQuack · 29/02/2016 03:23

Pixi eyeliners are very similar to Urban Decay. I like the Clinique Quickliner Intense pencils, but the Skinny Sticks are duds.

(Quite aside from Clinique's Hmm chubby/skinny names. Don't alienate the fat chicks, Clinique. We buy a lot of makeup)

OttiliaVonBCup · 29/02/2016 15:28

Didn't manage to go to the shops
but found this

www.temptalia.com/khaki-olive-green-eyeliner-comparisons-dupes

Urban Decay are top of the list, then I'll work my way down.
