I currently use Bourjois Rose Brun but it is gone within a couple of hours. I've heard sleek blushers are good but my local Superdrug doesn't stock them so I'll have to order on-line Out on a limb, wondering if anybody as any knowledge of the shades in real life and which one is most like Rose Brun? Or any other long lasting blusher out there I could consider? I am blue Irish pale.

Do you have any primer under your blusher? This makes a huge difference IMO

Juliecloud · 22/02/2016 21:23

The only ones that last on me are the liquid cheek stains. Benefit do a good selection. I think the Body Shop and Marks and Spencer do them too.

I don't know the Bourjois one, but what about a cream blush? Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge range has some very pale pinky colours, and there's a MAC one called something like Posey which might suit. I use a setting powder over blush, mine is the By Terry one, and that helps too.

Tesco sell Sleek

ClaraBorne · 22/02/2016 22:42

I've got some primer but don't use it so I'll give that a go.

I'm hopeless with cream blusher, end up looking like Aunt Sally. Blush Grin

We do have a Tesco nearby so I'll head off and have a real life gander, thanks everybody!

Bourjois blushers are crap. Barely any pigment and they're dry as hell.

Sleek blushers are amazing. I prefer their powder formula to the cream-to-powder one but they're both fantastic.

Max Factor ones in the wee round pots are great too. More subtle but great staying power.

NARS Orgasm lasts all day on me. I find Sleek too pigmented and only used the rose gold one once. You can have it if you want!

ClaraBorne · 23/02/2016 18:29

thank you what a lovely offer mrslebon that colour looks rather nice and lots of rave reviews on Amazon! Will PM you Smile

Bobbi Brown powder ones last all day. They are the most long lasting ones I have found having tried loads. The cream ones are useless, only look good for about an hour.

mrslebon · 23/02/2016 21:28

No problem! I'll have a look for it in the morning.

Daniel Sandler watercolour blush - shake it hard, a few drops in your palm and stroke it on with a small foundation brush (I use the Real Techniques one - the flat, pointed one). It stains and lasts for ever. Powder over the top and then layer on a little powder blush in the same shade over the top if you can be arsed.

Clinique chubby stick. Put on at 6am and still on by 6pm. I am converted.

mrslebon · 25/02/2016 22:31

Any particular shade @plentyofshoes? Never tried chubby sticks for cheeks.

Kennington · 26/02/2016 07:25

Benetint and posietint last really well

I heard becca beach tint are good but have never tried

MooMinCow · 26/02/2016 09:16

If you're after a powder blush, I find Tarte Blushers very long lasting. They are quite hard but very pigmented in a Big compact so will last forever. you can buy from QVC so can be returned if you don't get on with it.

I have the shade Natural Beauty (?) which a super bright pink red but think it suits all skin tones. Swatches here
