What to wear to work in a casual office

I work in a fairly casual office. I have slipped into the habit of wearing jeans almost every day, occasionally wearing a tunic and leggings instead. I am so bored of what I'm wearing. I really want to smarten my work wardrobe up, but not to the extent that everyone thinks I'm off to an interview during my lunch break!

What could I wear that it nice without being OTT? All ideas gratefully accepted!

I used to wear nice pencil skirts, plain or patterned and a plain t or a blouse. Or sometimes patterned trousers and a nice plain shirt or top. I find pretty ballet flats go well with any of those too, or on a hot day sandals.

Pencil skirts in a stretch cotton look smart buy not too formal - that's how I mix up my jeans look in a casual office. H&m have them and they're cheap. The top and shoes you wear can dress them up or keep them more relaxed.

Also patterned cigarette length trousers are good for spring and summer. Zara or H&m have loads.

I've just bought a pencil skirt and some printed trousers from Boden. Thanks for the ideas!
