I've had long all for as long as I can remember, until recently when I gave a new hairstylist freedom to do as she pleased.

So now I have a shoulder length Bob, but I think it's quite old fashioned, I am in my late 30's however my hair is quite limp, I do wash it daily as it has a tendency to get greasy.

My question is how do I get a similar hairstyle to the one pictured? What tools and products would I need to achieve it? Or can anyone shed any light on how I can get my hair to look thicker & fuller, I blow dry with a large barrel brush at the moment.

Thanks

Easy to achieve with a medium barrelled curling iron.

Volumising spray, focusing on the roots of the crown, blow dry until smooth with a barrel brush.

Wrap hair round tongs, but don't start right from the root and don't wrap right to the end: leave an inch or two uncurled.

Finish by spraying texturising spray on your hands and gently press it into the ends of your hair.

Oh thank you!

I have (well dd has) texturing spray and I'll find a medium barrel curling iron, and give it a whirlSmile

Sorry also: curl with the tong angled at 45 degrees, not parallel to your head, to get an s-shaped wave instead of a curl. See photo no. 4 on attached.
