What colour shoes with navy or grey tights?

I'm going for lunch on Saturday and want to wear a blue+white dress with either navy blue or light grey tights. But the boots I'd like to wear are either tan or a quite sandy brown. Will this look hideous? I only have black boots apart from those and I'm assuming they're a no-go with blue or grey tights?

Help!!!

Yep, brown would look fine I think. I wouldn't go with sandy colour or black really. What shade of blue is the dress?

It's slightly lighter than navy blue, but the tights I'll be wearing it with will be deep navy.

I've been Google imaging blue tights and brown boots and it looks good I think. I don't have a full length mirror in my house so it's impossible to tell whether I look shit as a whole or not!

Here's the dress http://m.asos.com/mt/www.asos.com/French-Connection/French-Connection-Argan-Rose-Long-Sleeve-Jersey-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=5813017&istCompanyId=6f061ed0-7427-4b6c-bb90-987c0bd08468&istItemId=qlxmarqtw&istBid=tztx&affid=14179&channelref=google+shopping&utmsource=google&utmmmedium=ppc&utmterm=48521484882&utmmcontent=&utmcampaign=&cvosrc=ppc.google.48521484882&network=g&mobile=1&search=1&content=&creative=53983301781&ptid=48521484882&adposition=1o2&r=2&mk=ab&gclid=CKny2d-7gcsCFYkBwwod4hIKsQ&unnjttapplicationnplatform=newPlp&unjttt_redirect

Boo stupid phone won't let me see link!

So maybe like a royal blue? That sounds totally fine with brown boots IMHO.
