I am 36, my skin is fairly sensitive (prone to dermatitis) but I have huge pores on my nose and my chin. I am also very prone to redness. The skin around my eyes is becoming visibly more crepey though I've no other wrinkles as yet.

I currently use cleanse and polish (which I like), the Eucarin Hydralon Filler eye cream and protect and perfect serum. I feel this is quite moisturising and I use a CC cream or tinted moisturiser as base anyway.

However I am definitely noticing that my skin looks dehydrated.

I'd like to improve skin tone and firmness around my eyes plus tackle dehydration.

I don't get much time for a 'routine' but do like a product!

What's my shopping list?

What's your budget? I'm prone to a bit of redness and cannot rate the S5 Skincare Calm serum highly enough for this. Also nicely hydrating. Protect and Perfect and a CC cream probably aren't high enough in water to really counteract dehydration. I like Clinique Moisture Surge as a good wet moisturiser (if you see what I mean).

For dehydration, I have good success with Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum. I use a good 4-5 pumps over face and neck, morning and evening. It helps with 'plumping up', has some effect on my dehydration lines around my eyes and make skin feel less parched. I have also tried the Vichy Aqualia Serum as recommended by Sali Hughes but found that Superdrug did the same job for a tenth of the price.

Also have great results from Nip + Fab Glycolic acid toning pads, used about 5 evenings a week.

I use Astral as a night cream, its a little bit rich for using in the day I find

And drink loads of water, cut back on caffeine, alcohol and sugar, and get as much sleep as you can Smile

Budget is fairly flexible if it's good stuff ....

Ooh I've been eyeing up the super drug serum as it features highly on Sali Hughes' 'list'....

Do you find the acid toner pads harsh?

Acid toner pads are fine on my skin - I use the regular ones, not the 'extreme' ones mind you. The 'extreme' ones are for weekly use I believe. I get some mild tingling when I use them but never had anything worse than that. The results are fab. I just started the Nip + Fab glycolic serum 2 days ago so very early days but I'm impressed already - skin feels v soft and looks a bit tighter, fine lines less noticeable.

For pores I love Sunday Riley ceramic slip, I don't find it drying but it is clay based so may be better to just use on nose and chin. I also love the Superdrug Pure serum.
