Reviews please!

Thinking of purchasing this.

I'm a fan!

Lightweight, medium coverage, gives a glowy healthy look without cake. It's a runny consistency and I find best applied with fingers. Not sure if it would cope with major blemishes.

I'm a lightish yellow tone, around NC20 in MAC and No.4 is the perfect match.

CoolToned · 17/02/2016 23:16

Thanks MsBojangles! I'm NC20 too, and was initially considering No. 3. Good to know No.4 is the perfect match for NC20.

Gah, don't take my word for it !!!

I think No.3 was a bit pinker toned and I'm more on the sallow golden side Grin

MsBojangles · 17/02/2016 23:32

Ruth wears No 4, it's actually pretty light.

Someone posted about this tonight on Mrs Gloss. I'm just about to check if anyone has replied on there.

CoolToned · 17/02/2016 23:38

I'm Asian, but not sure if I'm more yellow than more neutral. I am cool-toned though, based on veins and makeup that suits me. However, I have rosacea so no pink tones. :)

This might help if you can read it, tis a bit small:

Based on that chart, I'm indeed a 4. But I read in MakeUpAlley that it oxidises two shades darker?

OP posts:
MsBojangles · 18/02/2016 11:33

I read that too but I can't say it's very been a problem for me, probably because my neck is darker than my face.

CT are pretty good at giving samples, ask to try a 3&4 before you make your mind up.

CoolToned · 18/02/2016 11:39

MsBojangles - Unfortunately, I am in Australia and would have to order mine online. I might still go with 4 though, as my rosacea will probably be highlighted if I go with a rosy tone.

How many hours does it last on you?

OP posts:
MsBojangles · 18/02/2016 11:57

I put it on in the morning and it's still there in the afternoon, I touch up with a bit of powder after lunch. My skin is on the dry side so can't comment on how it would perform if you're oilier though.

Australia, lucky you Envy

CoolToned · 18/02/2016 20:05

MsBojangles - I don't feel so lucky whenever we have 39C days! Thankfully, that's few and far behind here in Melbourne. :)

Kind of hard to have any sympathy for you when I'm curled on the sofa, wrapped in a blanket and a dog with the heating cranked up to inferno! Shock

CoolToned · 18/02/2016 20:53

Sorry, that should have been few and far between. Definitely need my coffee!

Have you tried the Light Wonder during summer?

I'd gladly swap - I'm a fungus!

OP posts:
MsBojangles · 18/02/2016 21:09

I'm wrinkle phobic so for those three days of summer I forgo all foundations and switch to a layer of tinted SPF50 instead.

Think I must have fungus tendencies too Grin

Are you an expat?

CoolToned · 18/02/2016 23:48

Fellow wrinkle-phobic here! I use SPF50 under foundation even in the middle of winter. :D

I'm just a bum with too much time to youtube makeup videos! (That's how I found out about Charlotte Tilbury's light wonder - I'm a sucker for glowy sheer foundation, eventhough most days I don't wear any!)

How light is the fair 2 one?
I am very very fair with slight yellow undertone. I like the no 4 but think if it oxidises it would be too dark.

CoolToned · 29/02/2016 01:16

Buttercup443 - ended up ordering the fair 2. I'll let you know when it arrives!

OP posts:
CoolToned · 02/03/2016 02:15

It's here. It's the correct shade, but the undertone leans neutral, which is a bummer.

OP posts:
CoolToned · 05/04/2016 20:54

It oxidises on me by 2-3 shades darker. :(

It's amazing. Everything from CT is TBH. depressing as it's £££
