Which of these do you prefer for a spring wedding? I'm 5ft 9, size 18.

The flowery one! I love aright floral pattern on a black background

Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 13:46

I'm thinking the flowery one too, the other one cuts me in half just where I don't want to be cut in half. Flowery one also gives me more choice re jewellery etc.

Another vote for flowery!

RuddyHellItsSoftCell · 17/02/2016 13:52

Flowery one!

Narp · 17/02/2016 13:53

I'd keep the accessories to a minimum. Maybe the shoes can be coloured

Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 14:00

I've got navy shoes and a green bag so far. Was looking for green stuff to brighten the other dress- do you have any idea how little green stuff there is on the high street? Now, just have to hope m&s will take the other dress back without the paperwork which came with it.....

I'm confident they will op! They're usually pretty good in m&s unless it's from about 10 seasons ago or something.

Accessories sound lovely!

ScarlettDarling · 17/02/2016 16:03

Love the flowery one.

I think you're right when you talk about the black and white one 'cutting you in half'. It would do that to me. The floral print is lovely, really like it.

bakewelltarte · 17/02/2016 16:09

The flowery one! It's so beautiful and different!

Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 16:11

Oh, just realised that the flowery one isn't actually the one I have Blush it's the same pattern though, just with a wrap/ v neckline.

OP posts:
Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 16:13

It's this one!

Oh they're very similar. I would prefer the wrap for my shape anyway. Still vote flowery fwiw.

Narp · 17/02/2016 16:51

The V neckline is nice for bigger boobs

pwettyinpink · 17/02/2016 16:55

the v neck flowery one is absolutely gorgeous and I want it. Is it from M&S?

Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 17:07

Lindy bop sale - less than £25

I'm going to go against the grain and say the navy and white dress. I'm probably infulenced by knowing that that one would suit my figure best. They are both lovely dresses. I suggest you try on bith to see which suits your shape best.

Silvertap · 17/02/2016 18:37

Where is the navy and white one from? I think it's lovely. Would it be too much white at s wedding though?

Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 18:39

The navy and white one is m&s.

The lindybop one is better for my boobs. Now, should I get a petticoat????

OP posts:
Shesinfashion · 17/02/2016 18:39

Prefer the blue and White one. It's classy, simple and you could wear it casual or dressed up with the right accessories.

Ginmakesitallok · 17/02/2016 19:10

The blue and white one could not be worn casually! But I think I'd get lots of wear out of the flowery one. The flowery one is cotton, the blue and white one is polyester.

Have ordered a green petticoat to wear under the flowery one (!)

OP posts:
LadyPriggsbottom · 17/02/2016 19:20

Green petticoat sounds really nice with that OP!
