Eyelash tinting and/or extensions?

Has anyone done this? I google image searched and amongst the good stuff, was photos of it gone wrong which was a touch concerning....
What are your thoughts?

Had extensions and loved them, they get a bit itchy after a few weeks of growth though and once taken off your lashes feel stumpy for a couple of weeks.

Never tinted as I'm naturally dark anyway
