How do you know which perfume to try? I fancy a bash but I don't know which I'd like....

Well I've gone for a Mrs Gloss sample and I like sweet perfumes so New York 55 and Tokyo flower garden are some faves of mine.

Ealing Green is very fresh and green and grassy- perfect for Spring, The Crimes of Passion tester set is a great place to start. I really love Raw Silk and Red Roses and Goddess of Love and Perfume.

4160 Tuesdays does great sample sets and purse sprays so although its artisan and niche, its affordable.

The website gives you details about every single one so that's a good place to start. All orders are beautifully packaged and you usually get a few free samples. Can you tell I'm a fan yet?

Have you seen on Mrs gloss the huge runaway success of the new perfume ? Bloody hell!

Sarah does lots of perfume workshops throughout the year. She is fab. I've been to the studio and she was amazing company.

I'm a fan but to my nose many of her fragrances smell too similar, like the base of them is all Sexiest Scent on the Planet or something.

Anyone know where I'm coming from?

I like the sound of this. If I love fresh grassy, lemon/citrus, sandalwood, cedarwood, jasmine, etc, what should I go for?

Just bought the new MrsGlossMadeMeDoIt. Not smelt it but I love so many of 4160's perfumes that I think it's worth a punt plus I love the ingredients individually

I got a freebie sample of the MrsGloss one, it smells a bit like Nivea, although I might be smelling the wrong bit of my wrist

I got my Maxed Out today! It's bloody lovely.

It smells how sex should smell. It's quite a masculine scent - it was created for a man and has notes of tobacco, leather and cannabis (apparently!) - but it has a sort of heady sweetness to it as well. I want to lick myself

I'm intrigued, damn it! Have ordered a sample of Maxed Out and Raw Silk and Roses.

Be very careful LondonHP, licking yourself at the Sainsbury's checkout might garner some rather interesting looks!
