Sally Hansen Miracle Cure Question

I've just bought this remedy for my awful peeling nails but I'm confused about the instructions.

Do you remove each layer with nail polish remover before a fresh application? Or do you just apply on top of existing coat of product?

The instructions say: Apply 1 coat to bare nails every other day.

Which implies you would remove it. But then surely using nail polish remover so frequently would be potentially damaging to the nail? Apologies if I am being supremely thick about this!

Hi there. I bought this and have tried various techniques, removing/not removing before re-application and found it to be totally useless. Sorry, maybe it's just me! The only thing that has ever helped my useless nails was Nailtiques.

Creative rescue rx is definitely helping my peeling nails. Not used the Sally Hansen one, sorry.

Have started using this about a week ago. Nit really seeing amazing results yet - though my nails were in a really bad state as I had biab/acrylic & gel nails on in December for a couple of weeks. Bought this and Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails and Sally Hansen maximum growth so will have to try all if these and see what happens (if anything). Also been eating 2 raw cubes of jelly every day as the gelatin is supposed to be good for nails!!!!💅

I’ve only used the Maximum Growth in that line & applied a fresh coat on top of the old one every day then at the end of the week removed & started again. Found it much better than Nail Envy.
